Georgia is a lesser-known tourist attraction, as it must be a place that many peoples never knew existed. This country is located at the border of Asia and Europe, as the Caucasus Mountains and its surrounding terrain straddling Eurasia. Georgia has gone through many storms due to the war, such as the economic crisis. Nowadays, the country finally back to peace. The tourism brought significant economic sources for the country, and the expenses are quite affordable compared to nearby countries. Georgia has a long historical culture and picturesque natural scenery. You can see colorful houses in the fairy-tale world, or hiking along snow-capped mountains, as well as a lot of secret spots. You can bump into locals which showcase their friendly culture. Let's explore this incredible country together!

The options for accommodation in Georgia is vary based on each person, and the lowest price that I searched in Agoda is RM20++ per night. The price of local snacks is not expensive. It cost about RM20++ if you go for a dine in the restaurant. The price in Georgia is not much different from Malaysia. Most attractions in Georgia are free, while the outdoor activities need to billed separately. The expense of traveling in Georgia is actually low after deducting flight fees.   

1.Explore the past to future in Tbilisi

Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia. It was built in the 4th Century AD. The colorful fusion of Western and Eastern cultures merged into Tbilisi's unique historical features. The buildings ranging from colorful modern style to antique style. During the day, the old town of Tbilisi filled with a splendid ancient atmosphere, as there are different symbolic buildings of various religions, such as Sameba Cathedral and Metekhi Church. There are a lot of buildings rebuilt after being destroyed. Narikala is a fortress used for defensive purposes, which nestled on a steep hillside. The old town has a thousand years sulfur bath, where the visitor can enjoy the experience of soaking inside the hot spring bath in a domed cave, you need to take attention to the smell of sulfur.

Tbilisi is a colorful city that never sleeps at night. The bars offer great red wines with low prices, allowing visitors to experience a sense of drunk. Apart, this city provides a lot of interesting activities, so you can choose to go shopping in the flea market, museum tour, or take a cable car to the observation deck for overlooking a panoramic view.  

2.Hiking in Kazbegi

Mount Kazbegi is a dormant stratovolcano and the third-highest peak in Georgia. There is a rural village named Stepantsminda. The tourists can depart to the mountain from the village, as they can either choose to walk along the simple road or the more difficult mountain trails. You can admire majestic mountainous terrain,  as well as a variety of flora and fauna along the journey.

When you admiring the picturesque view while hiking along the way, there is a church called Trinity Church nestled on the top of the peak. There are very few people here, you can immerse in a quaint atmosphere, and stay away from the bustle and hustle of the world, and all the memories along the way are deeply imprinting in your mind. Also, tourists can experience various activities, such as exciting gliding activities, leisure horse riding, or mountain biking.  

3.Skiing in Mestia

Mestia is located in the northwestern region of Georgia, which is the oldest center of Svaneti in the country. The city is surrounded by mountains and one of them is Mt Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe. You can see snow-capped mountains throughout the year, and here is a paradise for the skiers during winter. The skiers can take a cable car to the top of the skiing field, and will-prepared when standing at the starting point. Skiers can expertly take control of their snowboards and enjoy the exciting feeling of accelerating heartbeat when skiing downhill. If you're a beginner without any skiing experience, you don't need to worry as there is some area with gentle slope provided.

4.Enjoying seaside of Batumi

Batumi is located on the coast of the Black Sea and is a tourist spot suitable for enjoying summer. Many tourists will come to the beach and play with water, and staying in the hotel with a sea view is perfect. There is a walking trail beside the sea, as you can have a stroll here during the evening while admiring the sunset. You can enjoy the breeze while listening to the sound of the waves crashing the rocks, and you can see art sculptures with a love theme along the trail. The nightlife in Batumi is quite exciting, as you can seeing the night view of the seaside. McDonald's in Batumi is also a must-visit place. It is a two-story building with its own petrol station and sky garden, which is featured as the most luxurious McDonald's in the world.

5. Taste grape wines in Sighnaghi

Sighnaghi is located in the high mountain area, coupled with the humid climate, and it is a good place for growing grapes. There is a large grape orchard in the mountains here, as there are many wineries producing wine in the surrounding area, and this has become Georgia's famous wine making technology for up to 8,000 years. Visitors can try authentic wines here and experience the rich flavor. The stone houses of this town are uniformly decorated with prominent red tiles. When walking along the long ancient streets, there is a poetic atmosphere everywhere.

Although Georgia is small, it is still a good place for vacation. If you have an opportunity to come to this country, which known as God’s forgotten back garden, and see the magical work of nature, it is one of the best experiences in life!
